Energy and Management Engineering (DIMEG) of the University of Calabria. He is the author of over 200 scientific works published in national and international journals on topics relating to energy problems. He supervised several experimental facilities at the University of Calabria. Appointed by the Rector of the University of Calabria as Delegate for International Relations with Mexico, Honduras and Paraguay, from 2020 to today.  He is the scientific director of numerous national and international research projects. He coordinates the activities of the Smart City Study Center at the DIMEG Department of the University of Calabria and is President of the Centro de Estudios para Smart City para America Latina.
